Description

Having painted over this canvas several times, the image of a figure in the textured surface became apparent so the figure was painted with the blanket made with self-painted tissue torn into pieces and applied individually. It sat that way for a very long time with different attempts at different backgrounds until the idea of a winter camp of Native Americans took hold. What did Indians have? Horses! And that is how this painting came into being.
