Description
The painting was created using a 8x24x.5 canvas. The goal was to paint a figure the full length of the canvas denoting summer shade by using a large brimmed hat to shade the face of a woman who also carries an umbrella to provide more shade if needed. Collage of packing paper was used to create texture in the skirt and a self-painted tissue paper was used for the umbrella. Framed.
