Mixed Media - Mixed Media On Cradled Board

Description

Going over a failed painting with gesso juice created shapes that indicated the hat and collar so, of course, it needed a face. The flower on the hat is collage from self-painted tissue paper but all other shapes were created by scraping through the gesso juice. Stencils of dots and crisscross lines were added for texture.
